Dos cosas me plantea esta película: 1) El vacío de la vida cotidiana de todos nosotros. La incomunicación, constante, repetitiva, aburrida, ilógica que todos llevamos. Que, obviamente, si lo llevamos a un extremo (el extremo del absurdo, como hacen aquí) se hace casi obvio. El tema es, si a vos te pasara eso (es decir, si fueras parte del problema) te darías cuenta? No. Por eso es que mucha, muchísima gente no va a querer ni le va a gustar esta película. Pero eso también es bueno. Quiere decir que no todos somos iguales. 2) El cine, es un medio o es un fin en si? Es un fin, en películas de suspenso (como Señales) cuando el plato fuerte de la película es el suspenso que te atrapa y con el que el director juega durante todo el film. Pero en este caso de películas, es un medio. Un medio para la charla que se dio luego, con un amigo, donde llegamos a la conclusión de la inconsciencia colectiva de la gente, charla que sin este “medio” jamás hubiera sucedido. Porqué? Porque, como recuerdo de haber escuchado de boca de Lisa Simpson “tienes que escuchar los silencios y no las notas musicales”.
